Today I want to talk to you about signs of your past life experience. How do you know your past life? How do you even sure you had a past life and what where you in your past life? Are you influenced by your past life experiences and if yes, how you can use this fact to your advantage. I will talk about all these and many more later on in this video so stay with me till the end.
Truth is we live many lives, the yoga scriptures teach that it takes from 5 to 8 million lives to reach even a human level. A soul goes through a long journey toward enlightenment changing many forms and physical bodies, until it learns its lessons and reaches the final stage of complete liberation from the wheel of birth and rebirth in the infinite bliss in God, or moksha as it called in Sanskrit.
In the Bhagavad Gita one of the greatest yoga scriptures when God in the form of Lord Krishna teaches yoga to his friend Arjuna when Arjuna was lamenting that he has to fight against and kill its own brothers and kinsmen then Lord Krishna says to him the following; my dear Arjuna, while speaking learned words, you are mourning for what is not worthy of grief. Those who are wise lament neither for the living nor for the dead. Never was there a time when I did not exist, nor you, nor all these kings; nor in the future shall any of us cease to be. As the embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. A sober person is not bewildered by such a change”. As the embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. A sober person is not bewildered by such a change. Those who are seers of the truth have concluded that of the nonexistent material body there is no endurance and of the eternal [the soul] there is no change. This they have concluded by studying the nature of both. That which pervades the entire body you should know to be indestructible. No one is able to destroy that imperishable soul. The material body of the indestructible, immeasurable and eternal living entity is sure to come to an end; therefore, fight, O descendant of Bharata. For the soul there is neither birth nor death at any time. The soul has not come into being, it’s unborn, ever-existing and eternally the same. He is not slain when the body is slain. As a person puts on new garments, giving up old ones, the soul similarly accepts new material bodies, giving up the old and useless ones. The soul can never be cut to pieces by any weapon, nor burned by fire, nor moistened by water, nor withered by the wind. The soul is everlasting, present everywhere, unchangeable and immovable. It is said that the soul is invisible, inconceivable and immutable. Knowing this, you should not grieve for the body.
There are countless true stories and proof about people who remember their past lives to an utmost stunning accuracy;
I will tell you a story about people who have experienced or have seen closely people who have had past life’s remembering. This story is about a doctor in India who have been sent to a village posting for public health service:
One day in my mud dispensary patients began running outside for no reason. I stepped outside to find that a crowd had gathered around a little girl standing barefoot in the dusty road. She was four or five, and apparently she had appeared from nowhere. Her name, she said, was Neela. It’s a common enough name in northern India, but after a few moments the little girl began calling one or two of the villagers by name, people she had never met before. She was gathered up in someone’s arms and carried into a nearby house; on the way, however, she pointed to this dwelling and made remarks as if she knew them. Within an hour her parents showed up. They had stopped by the side of the main road with their car, and while unpacking for lunch, the mother noticed that Neela had wandered off. There was a tearful reunion with the little girl. Then the questions began: How had Neela walked the long distance, more than a mile, from the roadside stopping point to the village? How had her parents known to look for her there? The answer was very strange and yet very logical one. Neela, it turned out, was not her real name, but Gita. As soon as she learned to talk, Gita had kept pointing to herself and saying, “Neela, Neela.” The locals considered the matter, and it wasn’t long before someone remembered another Neela, a little girl who had died young, on one of the surrounding farms. Someone would have run off to fetch the family who lived there, but Gita’s parents became quite nervous. Despite protests, they grabbed up their daughter and sped away in the car. Gita cried as they took her away, staring out the back window as the vehicle receded in a cloud of dust.
It is so incomprehensible that science is not learning from what already is known. Because if you think this out, science says that it seems apparent that conciseness develops as the brain develops, and of course the older the brain is in this life the more wisdom and the more knowledge we gain. What happens when the brain dies then? Well it deteriorates to its basic elements. But is conciseness then deteriorates? And of course science doesn’t know. The great Yoga masters have a great idea about that but science has yet not figured out how life works, let alone death and reincarnation. Here is the thing;
Your physical body is constantly changing, in fact not even one of all the molecules which compose your physical body a year ago are not there anymore. Your personal body from last year is gone, is dead. But you haven’t died in the meanwhile so I hope you agree that is a scientific proof of the existence of life after dead, because your conciseness is constantly outliving the death of the molicules through which it expresses itself, it is doing it right now, you don’t need a further proof of reincarnation, these are reincarnated cells. (Pointing and hovering my hand). These wherent there a month ago, but they remember the difference between hot and cold and pleasure and pain, it’s the memory that is reincarnating. Conciseness is always reincarnating, expressing itself through this physical body.
How is it possible that a 3 year old can compose whole classic music symphonies. Mozart was doing exactly that when he was 3. If you ask anyone and think about it is actually practically impossible to learn and practice in order to achieve all of that in 3 years, especially if you start at age 0. Once someone asked Mozart on how can he become a great composer like him. Mozart then said, well, you have to learn all the notes first, then you must take very rigorous training, then you must practice many hours daily, then in 20 – 30 years you might be able to start making some progress, then the man protested but you did none of those things, then Mozart replied, yes but I never asked anyone how to do it.
There is a way to remember all your past lives,
and that is when you have perfected one of the Patanjaly’s yoga sutras which is non greed and non-attachment. When you have completely mastered this yama you will remember all your past lives. But here is a word of caution, you cannot master just one of the Patanjali yoga sutras without the other ones. They all have to be sincronistically mastered in order to advance spiritually.
Here are a few signs of your past life;
if you have an inclination and you love certain food and you absolutely can’t sand another, this can be one sign that it’s a condition from you past lives.
If you can’t stand a person shortly after you met and you don’t know why, this another sign of past life conditioning. Families is a big example about this, and I am sure you have seen that yourself or someone close to you. I know many people of the same family who can’t even stand each other and they fight their whole lives and they don’t even know why. The yoga teaching say that God sometimes reincarnates people who have been enemies in their past life in the same family so in this life they can resolve the issue in close quarters.
Same thing goes about instant affection for people and love. I and my lovely wife are together for 20 years. We love each other since the day we met, but here is the interesting part, our first names are the same, example like Alexander and Alexandra. The first names of our grandmothers are the same this is big because those name are not common in the country we are born in. We like and dislike the same things, tastes, colors, people, etc…we both follow the same yoga teachings and love and follow the same yoga guru. We learn many years later that we both had the same colored book and have been fascinated by it since we are little children and we both loved it even though our families never knew each other before we met in our 20s. Why is this book so special? Well it turns out many years later after we started learning about yoga that it was actually the small colored version of the Mahabharata. The great Indian spiritual epic. Consider this we are not from India, in fact we have been born in a eastern European country where at the time we had this book, the yoga teachings where not only unknown but where also forbidden by the communists. To this day nether my parents nor hers know how those books got to us. In our childhoods we lived in the same street, but because its quite large we have never even seen each other, until in our 20s. When my wife was a little girl she told me how at the age of 5 she loved to sit in a lotus pose in the closed alone for hours talking to God. And I can tell you many other similarities which I will not enter into now, but you get the idea.
Now how can you stop this vicious cycle of death and rebirth?
The yogis say that each reincarnation is because of a deep longing or regret for the material life. You reincarnate because you have a desire you want to fulfill and that material desire cannot be fulfilled in the spheres of heaven in the astral world. Those desires are pulling your conciseness back to the lower material planes where you will have once again the opportunity to fulfill them. Desire for money, fame, food, cars, sex and wine, all these things cannot be fulfilled in the heavens of the astral world, and they are an obstacle for you to advance spiritually to a higher planes of existence.
Here are the 2 most effective things you need to do right now if you want to be freed from the cycle of death and rebirth and archive eternal Divine bliss in God;
One is devotion and the other is right action.
In Matthew 22:37 Jesus said “Love the Lord Thy God with all thy heart and with all thy mind and with all thy strength”
Swami Sri Yukteswar a great yogi who walked on Earth in the early 1900 used to advise his devotees to meditate, meditate, and meditate, more and more with utmost devotion to God, and he used to say, “By this way you will minimize the cycle of life and death.” He used to explain, “A man takes birth, then he dies. Again he is born; again he dies. He can minimize this cycle if he practices deep meditation.”
Thank you so much for watching this video, and remember; Love God, keep Him always in your thoughts, practice your sadhana, and live in joy.
